Teton Valley, Idaho

We drove through the mountains and then through Teton Valley,Idaho to get to Montana. I couldn’t resist making a picture of an Idaho potato field since there isn’t a store that wouldn’t carry potatoes from this State.  I also added a picture of land that wasn’t cultivated to show the kind of work that goes into making something of this land. We again drove hours and hours without seeing a house or man, but fields of farm land, wild areas, lovely hills, mountains, cattle, horses, and deer. Truly lovely!



Wir sind durch die Berge und dann durch Idaho gefahren, um unser Ziel in Montana to erreichen. Ich musste ein Bild aufnehmen von einem Kartoffelfeld, da Idaho Kartoffeln in jedem Staat in den USA zum Verkauf angeboten werden. Ich habe auch ein Foto geknipst von einem Feld, das nicht bearbeitet wurde, damit man sieht, wieviel Arbeit dazugehoert, um das Land brauchbar zu machen.
Wir sind wieder stundenlang gefahren, ohne ein Haus oder Mann zu erblicken; es gab nur Felder von Farmland, wilde Gegenden, wunderschoene Huegellandschaft, Berge, Kuehe (ueberwiegend Angus), Pferde, und Rehe zu sehen.
