Jackson Hole, WY

I didn't think that the views could get any better, but the trip to Jackson Hole, WY, taught me wrong. The scenic tour lead us through mountains, snow, fields with colorful wildflowers, magnificent lake sites, and again breathtaking views. The pictures won't do it any justice!
Yellowstone Park is a treasure in summer, but is also a well visited ski area in winter.

We arrived at the Virginian Lodge (approx. 6200 ft.) in Jackson and will stay here for the next four days. We have several tours planned, such as seeing geysers, and can relax afterwards in a heated pool and a hot tub. This promises to become another stop of fun and joy with the exception of the internet connection.

Ich dachte nicht, dass die Gegend noch schoener werden koennte, aber ich hatte mich geirrt. Die Anreise nach Jackson Hole, Yellowstone Park, hat uns durch Berge, Schnee, Feldern mit bunten wilden Blumen, und wunderschoenen Seen gefuehrt. Man kann es nicht auf Bildern festhalten!
Das Staedtchen Jackson ist interessant im Sommer, aber auch ein sehr besuchtes Skigebiet im Winter.

Wir sind an der Virginian Lodge angekommen, unserem Campingplatz in ca 1900 Meter Hoehe, und werden hier fuer die naechsten vier Tage bleiben. Wir haben diverse Touren geplant, z.B. Geiser anschauen, und koennen uns danach in einem geheiztem Pool und einem Jacuzzi erholen. Dieser Aufenthalt verspricht, sehr schoen und auch erholsam zu werden mit der Ausnahme vom Internetanschluss, der sehr schwach ist.
