The Sioux Falls come down in a well preserved environment and the whole city is saturated with beautiful sculptures. Once a year different sculptors exhibit their pieces in town and the one receiving the most votes by people will receive the "People's Choice Award" and his/her art will be purchased by the city. What a cool idea and what wonderful way to enhance the beauty of the city.
By the way, we had another tire blow out on our RV seven miles before we reached Sioux Falls.
Hier ist eine weitere Stadt, die man einfach besuchen sollte. Sogar mein Mann, der nicht viel fuer Staedte uebrig hat, fand es sehr huebsch.
Die Sioux Wasserfaelle sehen herrlich aus in der Stadt und das Staedtchen ist voll von wunderschoenen Skulpturen. Kuenstler stellen ihre Stuecke fuer ein Jahr an den Strassen von Sioux Falls aus und wer am meisten gewaehlt wird von Besuchern und Einwohnern erhaelt den "People's Choice Award" und die Stadt kauft die Skulptur von dem Gewinner. Tolle Idee und erhaelt die Stadt sehr interessant und huebsch.
Oh ja, wir hatten wieder einen Reifen, der kurz vor Ankunft in Sioux Falls explodierte.
